The lucky winner was announced at The Bellhouse Hotel Wedding Fayre on Sunday 17th Feb 2008 and there was an array of fantastic prizes to help the couple with their wedding day and honeymoon. Bridal matters
WHEN Ellie Sanderson got engaged, she couldn't wait to start the search for her dream dress. But, after being met with a series of run down shop interiors and unhelpful staff, she found the shine had been quickly taken off what should have been the most special of shopping trips. It was then that she decided she would open her own bridal boutique and provide the kind of service she had been unable to find herself.
Now, Ellie's dream has come to fruition with the launch of her bridal boutique Ellie Sanderson which has just opened its doors in Old Beaconsfield in 2007.
"When I was looking for my wedding dress, so many shops I visited were unwelcoming, untidy and just not special enough to sell me my dream dress," says Ellie.
Using her training as an interior designer, Ellie has lovingly created an environment she feels matches the occasion it is designed for. The shop, located in a prime position at 1 London End in Beaconsfield, is exquistely decorated and packed full of fresh flowers and candles to provide the perfect romantic setting for brides-to-be. The gowns on sale range in price from £1,000 to £3,700 and include designs from Augusta Jones, Stephanie Allin, Ritva Westenius to Sassi Holford. It also stocks a range of shoes (designs include Fillipa Scott and Gabriella and Lucido), bridesmaid dresses from Lou Lou and accessories from Mallis Henderson and relative newcomer Stephanie Browne.
Opening times are Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 5pm. Saturday 9am to 6pm Late nights are Wednesday/ Thursday till 8pm and Sunday appointments are available.
