The day was absolutely amazing and we had perfect weather, the rain stopped as soon as I left the house and the sun proceeded to shine all day.  I felt like a princess in my dress and shoes and everybody said I was stunning, the word ethereal was even used!  Gavin, my husband (I still can’t get used to that!) was lost for words and although he hotly denies it he cried a bit when he saw me at the top of the aisle.

So thank you so very much.  The experience of shopping in Ellie Sanderson was incomparable, and without you guys the planning and the actual day would have been a lot more stressful and a lot less fun and enjoyable.  Mum and I actually commented the other day that we miss our trips to your shop!

 I hope your wedding was just as amazing Ellie!

ELLIE SANDERSON,

I would highly recommend every bride to be pays a visit to this treasure trove of goodies! The dresses are amazing. They are classic, beautiful dresses that not only look amazing, but the fabrics & materials used are fabulous. Ellie appears to have a great eye in selecting the few designers that she stocks & the collection of shoes, accessories & veils are also a little bit different but still absolutely stunning.

Most importantly Ellie & the girls are great to deal with. There aren't hundreds of people watching you try on dresses, it's very focused on you as the Bride & nothing is too much trouble. As someone who doesn't like parading around in front of people, I was made to feel very relaxed & my opinions on what I thought I wanted were listened to, as well as the girls making suggestions that were something for me to think about, rather than roads to be pressured into going down.

The dress I chose was the last one I tried on, although one of the first ones Ruth picked out for me. It was different to everything else I'd tried on. I also tried on numerous veils, hair accessories & shoes. As well as having certain ideas on how I wanted my dress to look, I had the same feelings for my veil & when I tried on a vintage looking birdcage veil, I knew it was the one. Ellie & the girls gave advice where needed but I never felt pressured or that any questions or ideas I had were stupid suggestions.

I'm so happy that my dress came from Ellie Sanderson. The whole experience was amazing & the service was outstanding. I'd recommend any bride try here for their dress. To top it off, I met Ellie on the plane coming back from my honeymoon (she got married the day after me & was returning from her honeymoon in the same destination also) & it seemed like a fitting end.

Now every time I go to work & drive past the shop, I have very fond memories! Not a bad way to start your morning!Can't recommend this place enough.

I just wanted to thank you so much for making the experience of buying my wedding dress so much fun and so enjoyable.
 
I absolutely loved my Elysia dress and felt like a princess for the day. My mum and I went to several other wedding shops in London in my quest to find the perfect wedding dress but none came close to Ellie Sanderson in terms of the personal, caring and professional approach and the choice of gorgeous dresses.
 
Whenever I drive past the shop I look in at the dresses in the window and feel a bit sad it's all over!
 
Matt and I had an amazing week in Cortona, Italy topped off with the day itself which could not have gone better.

I really cannot thank you enough for all the help and advice that you all gave to me with my wedding gown and wonderful accessories.

The gown was truly beautiful and was so comfortable on the day. I stayed in it right until 2am the next morning when the last guests left.

Our wedding day was amazing and we would not have changed a single thing. The service, dress, flowers, food, band, speeches, guests and weather were just all magical. I really think that the reason we felt it was so successful was due to choosing people to help us that we felt relaxed with, and had trust in. As soon as I first entered your boutique I knew I wanted my dress from there and knew that I could trust you and that you would help and be honest all the way, and you were.

Words cannot convey my gratitude to all you lovely ladies that made the planning so exciting and stress free.

Just a little note, as Vivien will be thanking you when she returns from her
honeymoon, but I wanted to say a big thank you from the bottom of my
heart for all your kindness and skill in making the most wonderful dress to
fit Vivien so perfectly last Saturday.
 
We have had many letters already saying how beautiful and perfect Vivien
looked, it really was the most lovely dress I have ever
seen.  The day was without a hitch, everything went so well, it could not
have  been better.
 
Vivien and Tom are now in Borneo treking, after spending 4 nights in Hong
Kong and having a great time.
 
The veil also was gorgeous and the hand beading you suggested finished it all off so nicely.

I just had to email to say thank you for picking such a beautiful dress to sell in your shop. If it hadn?t been for that, I would still be looking for the one!

I really enjoyed my experience in your shop and what a treat to have someone so passionate about what they do. As I mentioned, I have spent the last 10 years or so as a professional dancer and have been fitted for some incredible costumes from time to time. In the last few years I have been fortunate enough to work with a fantastic costume designer and so I really appreciate an individual knowing how to dress someone and get the best out of their body.

I look forward to more visits to your shop and of course the fittings. I could spend hours in a bridal shop, perhaps one day I?ll work in one!

What a phenomenal day Saturday was!
